Subscription plans

Pricing: the subscription price will be made clear to you on our register page or otherwise during the signup process and may vary from time to time.

You agree to pay the fees at the rates and frequency notified to you at the time you take out your subscription.

Undercurrent News will charge you in British Pounds Sterling if you are within the European Union, and in United States Dollars for the rest of the world. You may also have to pay any applicable local taxes.

We will always tell you in advance of any increase in the price of your subscription and offer you an opportunity to cancel it if you do not wish to pay the new price.

We may in exceptional circumstances cease to publish Undercurrentnews.com or cease to provide subscription services.

If we do so, then we will have no further obligation to you, unless you are a subscriber in which case we will offer you a refund of the unexpired period of your subscription.

Renewals

If you choose to pay monthly or annually, your subscription will continue for another month/year until you tell us that you no longer wish to receive it, in which case you will stop paying the monthly/ annual fees.

Please see the “Cancellation” section below for details of how to cancel your subscription.

We will charge the subscription using the same card or other payment method that you previously used.

We will notify you in advance of any changes to the price in your subscription that will apply upon renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation by you: You may notify us of your intention to cancel at any time, and such notice will only take effect at the end of your then current subscription period.

You may notify us of your wish to cancel your subscription by contacting us at [email protected]. Alternatively, call us (see here for contact details).

We do not issue refunds in such circumstances nor allow you to pass on your UCN account to somebody else.

For our corporate subscribers, we issue no refunds on cancellations but we do permit a transfer of account to a different person within your organization (e.g., if the original account holder leaves the company).

Cancellation by us: Undercurrent News reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if you breach these terms and conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to you.

You will not be entitled to any refund in these circumstances.

If however we terminate or suspend your subscription for any other reason and/or permanently cease publishing or providing subscription services then, unless there are exceptional circumstances, we will provide you with a pro rata refund to your credit card, which means that we will refund you with any amounts that you have paid us in advance that relate to any remaining and unexpired period of your subscription.
